First Nissan brought us Birdview sat-nav giving us overhead, 3D mapping; now it's launching a parking camera that can see all around the car. Owlview anyone? Clearly Nissan has missed a trick here, as it's calling its new gadget the rather more sober Around View Monitor.
Following the C-Airlounge of 2003, the C-Airdream of 2005 and the C-Airplay of 2006, is the C5 Airscape. Due to make its international debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month, this new Citroen concept acts as a spoiler for the forthcoming upper-medium C5 replacement dues soon. Unlike the forthcoming production car, the concept is a four seat coupe cabriolet which is aiming to show a new level of premium quality for the brand.
SsangYong has released the first images of its new Rodius MPV, soon to be unveiled at next month's Geneva motor show. Based on SsangYong's ‘Robust, Premium, Specialty' design philosophy the carmaker says the new Rodius is "styled to be fit for outdoor, off-road driving as well as on-road driving". The front three-quarter sketch shows that the exaggerated, streamlined front grille has been retained – albeit it with a slight modification – while it also features angular headlamps.
